印度大壺節(Kumbh Mela)有感

今年(2013年)是中國農曆的蛇年，今日(2013-2-11)得知印度大壺節(Kumbh Mela)每12年舉行一次，今年是從1月14日至3月10日，在北方省阿拉哈巴德市的恆河(Ganges)、亞穆納河(Yamuna)以及印度教裡神秘的薩拉斯瓦地河(Sawaswati)匯流處舉行。
印度教徒相信，在這三條聖河匯合處沐浴（阿拉哈巴德以東），特別吉祥。
2月10日是印度教曆法中的「新月」，被認為最吉祥。該日也是中國農曆的正月初一。
印度教神話相傳，一群神明和魔鬼為爭奪裝有長生不老仙藥的聖壺而大打出手十二天（相當於人間的十二年），結果壺中幾滴仙藥掉落凡間，落在 阿拉哈巴德、哈里德瓦、烏賈恩和納西克四個城市。自此大壺節（Kumbh Mela）每十二年輪流在這四個城市舉行，至於聖壺節每一百四十四年才登場一次。

About 甘露、所謂不老仙藥和常在我腦海中出現的Lord Dhanvantari。
Canto 8，Chapter 8, 32-37:
在不周山？神的化身(Kurma)龜背上，天神和Demons在攪動牛奶洋的過程中，出了很多東西 (之前一開始曾出過毒物，被Lord Shiva喝下化解，救了宇宙)。後來出了幸運女神，她選了至尊主做丈夫。
再後來就是Lord Dhanvantari和甘露Nectar了。He is a plenary portion of a plenary portion of Lord Vishnu.
He was very conversant with the science of medicine.
而後就引發了天神和惡魔的爭奪甘露大賽。
感覺進入了靈性世界的功夫江湖。八仙過海，各顯神通。這個世界充斥著Demon和Demigods，還有偉大的奉獻者，以及至尊人格首神。
我這個Tiny tiny，好想向tiny tiny 草藥庫種子學習。還有個靠山，叫做Lord Dhanvantari 和祂帶來的甘露。

Remarks1: Learning from Lord Siva："As a result of the churning, a huge amount of poison was produced. The prajāpatis, seeing no one else to save them, approached Lord Śiva and offered him prayers full of truth. Lord Śiva is called Āśutoṣa because he is very pleased if one is a devotee. Therefore he easily agreed to drink all the poison generated by the churning."
Remarks2: 由故事引伸至人體生命內環境修習："Svetadvipa, the abode of Ksirodakasayi Visnu in the ocean of milk". Ksirodakasayi Visnu: 超靈 manifest in the heart of all living entities.
Remarks3:Kumbh Mela今年是龍年和蛇年之間出現，是否每12年都是在龍年或蛇年發生呢？ (According to the Vedic references, these dates are calculated in advance according to a special combination of zodiacal positions of Sun, Moon, and Jupiter, 和我們中國人的太歲，天干地支紀年法有吻合之處。)
